G-U TEK was founded in 1987 by a Urological Surgeon dedicated to the development of innovative urological products. The inspiration for the creation of these devices was to improve the efficiency of procedures frequently performed by urologists or other medical personnel; i.e., ureteral catheter placement (pelvic or abdominal surgery), urinary bladder catheterization / irrigation (urinary retention or hematuria), and continuous flow Y-tubing (TUR-P, TUR-BT, post-op bladder irrigation), or other endoscopic procedures requiring large volumes of irrigating solution.
