This new improved connector allows you to use one port if only one ureteral catheter connection is needed;
or both ports with the option of capping off one side at a different time interval. If the cap is not required,
it can be torn off and discarded.
It accommodates #4, 5 or 6 Fr. ureteral catheters. Easily inserted into friction connecting side ports.
This device is used to perform manual irrigation, tissue collection, and/or straining functions during
transurethral prostate or bladder surgery. The device is typically connected to the resectoscope or to a Foley catheter.
The Syringe Evacuator is constructed to screen out any tissue which might be flowing in the fluid path during normal
irrigation in TURP procedures. The screen feature allows for the tissue to collect in the collection bowl.
When fluid is forced back into the bladder, the screen position of the evacuator changes and prevents the tissue from leaving the collection bowl.
Fluid is forced in and out of the resectoscope by use of the syringe plunger. The collection bowl is detachable and a lid is provided for containing
and to allow for closure for transportation to pathology.
